Montana wouldn't have lost this game for the 49ers during the 92 NFC Championship game and it would have changed the Cowboys dominance during the 90's. This game set the tone for the Cowboys in the 90's but if you listen to Aikman in this game he said he didnt know if they were good enough to beat the Niners.

I remember this game like it was yesterday. It's my favorite Cowboy game of all time second only to the one they played two weeks later. At that time I had no real idea JUST how good the 90's Cowboys were. I honestly had a horrific feeling before the game that they would lose just like they did in '81. Glad I was wrong. In my mind the greatest Championship game ever and that goes for both conferences. Pure Classic. A true clash of Titans that you don't see with todays pussy ass league parity BS.

That game was hard to watch, they were just better for that game and the next years game. I always kept hoping they would have put Montana in at the end of the game to pull a Joe Cool Miracle.

@SFFOOL76 im a niner fan man, and i agree with u. the cowboys was the youngest team in the league with a number 1 ranked D. and i didn't mention the offense yet. FLAT OUT NASTY

Although I'm a niners fan, The Cowboys were a better team than us. I may not like the Cowboys, but I have to admit, they were a better team than the 49ers from 1992-1993. I was only nine months old (almost to 10 months old) when this game happened.
