A lot of soldiers went to Iraq thinking they were going to do something really good for the world but left with bad taste in their mouths and a sense of defeat and another sense of betrayal. They were told what they were doing was honorable until they figured out they were just puppets in a massive game of "Lets make more Billionaires!" takes sacrificing millions of innocent lives and fooling the masses of people. Is a Billionaire worth more than some guy who works 2 jobs to earn almost nothing?

There is no way he did patrols, he was a Ground Station Radar Operator, they don't leave secured areas unless they're going to a new location. So if he's lied about what he's seen in Iraq, what else has he lied about?
