@ALPHAandOMEGA44 The Articles of Confederation was the law of the land until, the Constitution was written. The only way to get everyone to sign (or representatives from every state) was to include the bill of rights and limit the power of the Federal Gvmt. It was not decided by majority rule, but it was the best everyone could agree on.
It was abused early on and the Constitution is not perfect but it would be better if people that swore an oath to it, read and obeyed it.

@Deadnsd Sadly, the new FBI training of our local police forces include teaching that our founding fathers were terrorists so that a statement like that can put you on a list. "A Threat To Law Enforcement" because of your "crazy" notion of rights. Watch some George Carlin on this subject. You have no rights now. They just haven't begun to enforce the n"NEW" laws. You are property, a source of energy(labor) and you pay to work. Taxes on labor is slavery by proxy through interest owed on printing.
