John Bolton is a raging neoconservative ideologue. A founding thinker of the Project for a New American Century ideology (which advocated unilateralism/interventionism and sought to promote militaristic and economic imperialism as cornerstone principles of American foreign policy). Look at his beady little eyes, his solution: bomb, bomb, bomb Iran! He is outraged that the neocons plan to politically remap the Middle East has fallen short! Bolton wants a full out invasion of the country.

Look, I come from Montreal I don't get how you guys fall for half the crap your Gov. sells you. Many beliefs that have been disproved all over the world are still accepted in the states...i.e Death penalty acts as a deterrent, or higher drinking age discourages adolescent drinking, marijuana gateway drug, guns make people safer. I don't understand why the facts don't make their way into the mainstream of the U.S.

Yeah, I hope there's an uprising there, and that the people decide to abandon this theocratic-ish bull sh*t. What's funny is that O'Reilly wrote a book about culture warfare (competing ideas/ideals), but we don't seem to engage ourselves in dispersing propaganda to overthrow regimes all that much. We'd rather risk our soldiers' lives than try alternative approaches.

Adding to that, the statement Ahmadinejad was not words of his own but rather a quote he took from Ayatollah Khomeini at a time that Khomeini was shutting down the nuclear program that existed under the Shah.

Furthermore, the Supreme Leader holds the power to order military strikes and he stated in response to all the criticism coming from the speech two days after that "the official foreign policy of Iran is that of non aggression to all members of the United Nations" This includes Israel.

It's ironic that John Bolton is giving his analysis, since his shortcomings in the UN with respect to Iran have left it as a serious threat to the region and the world.
