Actually, BBE recommends putting this at the END of your signal chain, right before your amplifier. It will correct the phasing issues introduced by your chain of effects; distortion, phaser, gEQ, etc. All analog effects introduce phasing issues. Also, the sonic stomp is designed to correct for phasing issues that stem from the way speakers reproduce sound. Highs, mids, and lows do not arrive in-phase. Throw in a bunch of phase-altering effects and you end up with a muddy, mid-heavy sound.

I thought BBE strongly suggest that this be the LAST pedal in your signal chain, or even better last in the effects loop.
