@Seattle206723 Ok thanks for that. I live in Canada where it is hard to buy without huge premiums, commissions,..some times taxes and sometimes even capital gains taxes when you sell them. I will buy some in Washington State if I am ever there. Hopefully I will not have legalities bringing them into Canada and/or selling them there.

I want to spark a debate about .925 coins and .999 coins. Obviously, .999 pure is more valuable than .925. However,...to acquire .999 you have to pay huge premiums. So let's start the debate,..at what point or price should one settle for .925 instead of .999? Where I live,..to acquire .925 I pay only about $2 above spot price,....no premiums no taxes,..very cheap. To buy .999 you pay almost double spot price including premiums, commissions, taxes and having to give ALL my personal info

@cloudskipper40 That really depends on the state you live and where you buy. Washington State has not taxes on Gold or Silver purchases as far as sales tax is concerned. You can also sell you Silver Eagles above spot at reputable dealers here also. They will pay $3 above spot on the coins. So here it isn't such a big deal to pay $3 to $5 above spot.
