Cat Getting His Asthma Meds with the Aerokat

This is Charlie getting his morning dose of asthma medicine. This video was taken after Charlie had been doing this twice a day for over 5 months.

In a previous video, taken after just 4 days of using the Aerokat, he was very still and calm. Here, he's more frisky and tries to get the mask off of his face. I keep a gentle and loose grip in order to be able to move with him so that the mask stays on his muzzle and he continues to get his medicine. In the rare occasion that he does slip out of the mask, I simple place it back on his face. The medicine stays in the chamber and is drawn out during breaths, so one second off the face doesn't affect the process much.

@ChristinaaArmani if you get it from a place like 4cornerspharmacy . com it's about $50 a can. If you get it from your local pharmacy it will be over $100.

He is fine! He hasn't coughed since I began treating him with the Flovent, except for one quick cough the day after our landlord had us do a bug bomb in our home :-(

I told her I didn't want to do it because I had a cat with asthma, but she insisted because the exterminator recommended it. So let it be known that bug bombs are NOT good for cats with asthma.
