Documentary about "Under The Bridges & On The Streets," a non profit organization that prepares and delivers meals to the homeless of Los Angeles and Kashi Ashram, a spiritual community under the leadership of Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati.
I agree with those that say stay away from the kashi. My family was involved when I was a girl, and left when they relized that those people are crazy and a little bit money grubbing.
Unless it is to relieve suffering in the here and now, bitching about the past is useless. The whole point of being a good human is to learn from what those with an agenda call "mistakes." Without an endless stream of such "mistakes" under stress, would evolution never have produced humanity. Those who created Kashi & Macho are among the best "learners" in a world seriously facing self-annihilation
Those guys say one thing and do the opther where no one sees. Nice people most of them to talk to though, but mom also knew a little girl student at their river school that was kidnapped by this cult and the sheriff swat team had to save her.
Finally someone with the guts to say it like it is: that coment below. My mom and lost others has been so upset with the Kashi Ranch cult, our neighbor, for poluting the our gorgeus Sebastian River when their business Macho products karate dumped chemical stuff in the 1980's from a shack
Do net ever have anything to do with Kashi, or buy Macho Products martial arts gear, unless you wish to enable and perpetuate child abuse in this world.
Randy, your honest and compassionate soul really comes through in this, as does the warmth of those providing and delivering the meals. Thanks for sharing this!
This is awesome.
Thank-you,
