  • a lack of knowledge of aerodynamics and basic physics will often result in silly designs that are not practical, and also waste of time and money to build.

  • I guess with this you get a large volume of lifting gas, therefore heavy load carrying in a small parked space and still low frontal area during flight reducing drag.

  • applesweeter why do you post that message on every airship video on you tube

This concept is unpractical for inner city flight by creating it tall vertically it is way more susceptible to cross winds and will just be blown side ways into a building. parking it wont be any easier its still just as cumbersome as a horizontal version, as well as there are no directional fins and when vertical will create drag as well as the ballast system wont work right in a vertical setting probably

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we want to design new airship in this "jet-age"?

    (3) What is the enjoyment to fly airship?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • Upon going vertical your biggest problem will be wind vectors you will lose a lot of energy compensating this. Interesting concept though.

  • genius. I love the idea. post more about this.

  • Great idea to making parking one of these monsters easier, too!

  • Hello,

I saw your designs at london design week. The video explains the conept well. Was this just a design project or are you interested in taking this further? maybe building scale concept tester. I design and build experimental craft and have a great love of new airship ideas. Where are you located?
