I remember first seeing this back in '89 on 120 Minutes, and was quickly taken aback. I've bought bought both Terrorvision and Voice of World Control on cassette, CD, and now on iTunes. Without a doubt, my favorite industrial band; I just wished there was more material.

actually, this is how i found sarah mclachlan, then i rushed out to buy "Touch", before anyone knew about it. She started out on Nettwerk just like Skinny Puppy, etc. but Terrorvision was kickass on its own merits

i just discovered these guys from a documentary on cyberpunk and i love it so much. i must have listened to this one track over 100 times. stuff like this always makes me wish i was born a bit earlier so i could have fully enjoyed this during the time it was produced.

Caught the Show in NYC too. Was awesome. I hope the Cars will continue. Their work was brilliant in the past.; One of my favorites was "Double Life" from the Cars album "Candy O". It was an inspiration!

The track was completed and released far earlier than "Policy of Truth" Just sayin........

@Surfinbirdnyc Thanks for the back story Brian. I have the new Cars CD and had the pleasure of seeing them perform in L.A. earlier this year.

@AgentXPQ The song that was the local hit must have been Control Yourself. I can't think of another song that was poppy from them. Plus they released it as a single.
Was looking for 'As The End Draws Near' by SD6 but couldn't find it. If it's on YouTube I would be grateful for the link. That said, I decided to give this tune a listen and it's pretty good. Now I'm not very good at history and famous people but is that Winston Churchill at the end? Also, can anyone please tell me what's going on at 0:15 where somebody has a gas mask on? Have seen another music video with a similar clip in. Thanks!!!

@fishyfingersparty That is indeed Winston Churchill- Inspiration to so many. A man that won WW2. Superb Public Speaker. A true Inspiration. I directed the video so I know. I could explain all aspects of this music video, but my personal time is limited. Someday I will. I look forward to that as well as explaining all the other aspects of the band MANUFACTURE. No time right now, perhaps time in the future. All of you just let me know........ Many many stories coming.
Thanks for your comment!

Brian, I'm a big fan of Manufacture, I always wondered if the Gregg Hawkes that worked with you guys at some point was the same guy from The Cars? (since you're both from Boston)

@bsynth8 - Absolutely True! Gregg Hawkes worked with us and remains a close friend to this day. Gregg was an inspiration and a true pioneer. Gregg has a certain cool factor that has never gone away. His influence can be heard in many areas. Thanks for posting! -Brian B----> MANUFACTURE.
