im 100% new to xbox modding...can someone please make a video on exact step-by-step instructions on how to flash my Lite-On drive...I need to know exactly what i need to do this and exactly what to do...every video ive watched, i dont understand...Xecuter's site says to use a VIA card but my dad has a eSATA port on the back of the motherboard...so i need to know exactly what to do....PLEASE HELP ME

You need to do a lot of reading to understand the process. Use google. you need to install some drivers. Im using a sata pci card to flash the liteon drives.Its a VT VIA 6421 pci sata card.

Also did you have to solder any points

No if you're using a prob spear. If you dont have a spear to extract the key you do need to soder point R707

after you copied all the files over to the floppy, i was wondering, im a noob so is it possible to instead of copying to a floppy, can i copy to a cd and boot from that instead?

if I have the dvd key and OSIG, from a nand (jtagged xbox) I don't need the key extractor right I should just be able to power up the drive with it half-way ejected to flash it

nice video. I was just wondering do I need to buy a via6421 PCI Card to flash my Lite On Drive or I can just connect the sata cable to the motherboard? Thank you.

Hey dude. Can u show us the proper way of connecting the Xbox to the connectivity kit and SATA cable to PC. And the way we are suppose to use CK3 probe. It'd be great, if my request would come out asap. Thanks : )

Can some one help me? Some one allready Flashed my lite-on drive but i have the older firmware without wave 3. I downloaded Ixtreme 1.6 but what most i do to install the new firmware on my drive is there anyone who got's tutorial? or something?

So basically you flashed your liteon DVD that came with your xbox right? you did not use any spare or different dvd?

So basically on the contrary to what people been saying about liteon drives cant be flashed, and you did it without using a different drive to flash your liteon key?

That means your using the same liteon drive that came out from your box?
