The D-CIS lab participated at the European Micro Aeral Vehicle 2008 indoor flight competition.
The MAV platform is a modified lama v4 coaxial helicopter fitted with 2 cameras for stereo vision. Throughout the flight the MAV is controlled through a helmet mounted display producing a stereoscopic first person view. The video shows the view of the right hand camera.
This flight resulted in 1st place for the indoor autonomy mission.
Wow! Amazing. What kind of motors do you use? (brushless?) Do you use 3-axis gyro to stablize your MAV?

The platform heas been completely modified. It has 2 ELE C10 brushless motors and a single axis heading hold gyro. Nick and roll stability is achieved by the flybar.
