Here's Matt Hart playing my new tenor solo (PLEADING THE FIFTH). This was all done live at the Flower Mound percussion concert with mirrors. Quad magic.
Download the sheet music @ my site (nickwerth.com)

  • i couldnt help but smile when all mirror effects were on during the groove section. haha.

  • @ilkecoolaidandclnbts :) Some stats on Matt... he's been playing tenors for a year and some change. He played snare for 3 seasons, and starting playing tenors last winter. Chocolate Cherry Bomb was his first solo.

  • Could you replay that middle section for me? I don't think it was repeated enough. *completely sarcastic* seriously, from :33 until about 1:03 was the same.

  • Right?! It's definitely a repetitive groove. It's set up sort of like a 4-bar phrase with a fill at the end of each phrase. The developments in the groove are subtle, and it does start to sound quite repetitive if played correctly and consistently...

Matt obviously did this :) Great work, Mr. Hart!!
