The Future Soon: Enhanced with "Phantom Band"

This video is an experiment. This is my first attempt at sound mixing. What I did was take some Jonathan Coulton concert footage that I shot,

and combined it with selected source tracks from the studio version of the song (The Future Soon). The source tracks are available through Creative Commons.

So it sounds like the concert performance is being aided by a back up band which is in fact JoCo himself. Since the source tracks were not meant for this concert performance but rather for the studio version of the song, it took a bit of work to get them synchronized, and (needless to say) there are plenty of parts that still aren't perfect. For one, there's a high pitched noise that I didn't hear before uploading to YouTube. Lesson #1 learned. :-) Let me know what you think.

I did all the audio mixing in Audacity, and then rendered the final video in VirtualDub.
