As much as I would love to believe that someone like Ron Paul can 'do it', I am suspicious of him as well. Anyone who gets on the controlled mainstream media is there for a specific reason.

Also, people like Alex Jones who claim to be Christians and then try to stir folks up, esp Christians, to revolt/rebel against the government to the point of violence is very suspect - agents provocateurs.

That's a convenient mental shortcut, but it's lazy and unreliable. If the mass media tells you it's raining do you *assume* that it isn't? I'd be the last one to tell you not to be suspicious of the mass media, but you're straying beyond suspicion into paranoia IMO. The bad guys aren't in total control of everything.

Its crazy, but when you look into the account of pretty much anyone who posts negative things on the 9/11 sites, its always the same thing. No videos posted, just weird random videos on their fv list. its like these people don't really exist or have a life. They are also always quick to reply, sometimes, but you never get much personal information from them.

I've looked at probably 2 dozen of these guys' profiles, and they're almost all like that. Ron Paul haters are the same way. There's ReallyRick, though; I'm pretty sure he's just a big goof. :-)

I don't know. I'd feel better about him if I saw a large personal social network around him; one of the reassuring things about Dr. Paul is his large family, who are all supportive -- and as down-to-earth as he is. Alex J seems like a rather lone wolf out there. That's certainly not conclusive, but it does make me wonder why. But, I don't listen to him regularly, so it's not a burning issue for me to decide, at this point.

If I have to say yes or no to that, I have to say yes. There certainly is a superabundance of (ahem) "problems" with the official conspiracy theory. The question is, what to do with our suspicions? The rational answer is to investigate. The disinfo agent will attack that suggestion, usually with an ad hominem attack denigrating your patriotism -- or, if you're a Republican, your party loyalty.

Why should anyone fear investigation of events?

I feel very bad for you if you are a well meaning person that is trying to do the right thing but listening to the wrong sources. You can easily prove to yourself that your information is bad by going to the Alex Jones channel on youtube and watching several of his shows.
