Time lapse video from a camcorder mounted on a Kayak- the jitter is due to the fact that my kayak has no out-rigging to keep it from rolling side to side when paddling. This sequence was taken in late September of 2008 in the Scarborough Marsh "SM".
The Audubon society runs a station along the SM where you can rent canoes and kayaks, although late in the season you have to bring your own. The SM has a large tidal variation which results in some currents, but for most this is a safe venture. Birdwatchers flock to the SM to view the large variety of species. Low tide is best for birdwatching.
