thunder is top 10 of the era, japanese or not, akira is just really good, plays flashy but with alot of feel as well, just a great player of the time, but it wasnt just him , the whole band was good and wrote good songs to go with the blistering axe antics of the great takasaki

Yes, These guys were/are genuine polished metal.Thunder album contributes to my partial hearing loss.But I have to share this: I saw them open for Poison and C.C DeVille spun around with his B.C Rich pointy pegboard and about plucked Bretts eyeball out.He ran off stage leaving a trail of blood.But you know what? That S.O.B returned a few minutes later with a butterfly bandage on his eye and finished.I have to give props to Brett for that.But thats it! LONG LIVE LOUDNESS!!!
