  • aw, c'mon DEM, you don't have to prop your books up so we can see em, we know you are a well read man

  • @GoddaM777 It's my way of saying.....check these plays out.

  • Demcad its scarey but alot of that depends on your gender maybe even your ethnicity, when a life especially a child is at stake everyone should drop all their bs but they don't. There have been men that tried to give lost children to store employees without even trying to leave, and the police come and press charges for kidnapping... A lot of people have their heads so far up their ass they cant let go of social stigma. That is part of the reason why people don't act, yes I know its sad.

  • @AlusaBird Yeah, you have to be careful.

  • betrayal whats that book about??

  • @GamingExtreme187 It's a dramatic play about two couple told from the ending to the beginning.

  • wa dada dang wa da dada dang hey!

  • I think the reason why people have the bystander effect because they do not want the liability or time loss. There is a saying no good deed goes unpunished.

  • @gearsow12 What race are you?

  • @Glalie They do care, it's just that they think that someone else will do something, that's why these videos are so good, you learn that no one else will help, it's all up to YOU.

  • The amount of people around makes no difference, people just don't care enough to help. This world is filled with a bunch of douches.

  • you might want to clean that room my friend

  • i hate when people talk about race...

  • When I was younger I would not have gotten involved because I was scared or shy and didn't know what to do. Now I'm in my 40's...I either call local police, 911 if it is an emergency or if I don't feel I would be harmed I get involved. I'm not afraid or too shy anymore. More folks need to get involved with what is going on with thier surroundings.

  • I agree, social conformity is too much a part of society. I like to think I'm a non-conformist in a good way. Going with the flow is not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion, it depends on the situation. If I were in that situation you described or where I thought someone was in trouble I would definitely intervene in some way. Obviously you don't want to do something stupid, you want to do something very effective in dealing with the situation.

  • Bystander effect is a real problem. I saved an old lady from choking at a restaurant with 35 people in it. NO ONE DID ANYTHING. Woohoo I had CPR training and knew what to do. About half of people do not know anything to do. That still leaves 17 who did nothing NOT EVEN CALLING 911. The restaurant owner just stood there. That is exactly what will happens when any other crisis happens... wink wink...
