It is incredible the amount of work that goes into just 3 minutes of special effects. Like, TEN HOURS of camera time! Unbelievable! Thank you for your efforts. It is a beautiful video.

cool video. So, the shots by the pool with the clouds moving were time lapse? It looked like stop motion combined with greenscreen timelapse in the background. Interesting concept for a video. I like that you're doing something unique

Thanks, man. Yeah, it's all one timelapse shot, I just created a seperate layer for the sky and pumped up the contrast in it... no greenscreen, but you're right, technically it does utilize some some keying. (Well spotted!)

Wow this is really amazing... how many hours of filming is this?
Fritzanity 3 years ago
Well it's difficult to break down in terms of hours spent rehearsing / preparing / actual filming... but to put it into perspective, the the 2:31 of footage is comprised of at least 6 hours of "actual" time. The opening, poolside setup is all one continuous shot, filmed in about 40 - 50 minutes. Given there is at least a minute of footage we didn't use, there must have been about 10 hours of the talent recorded in timelapse / stop motion setups.
