They (komputer) are known for having the same sort of cold, mechanistic sound that was first made known by Kraftwerk.

Yep, the songs are (in)direct reworkings of Kraftwerk classics. Although I am not usually accepting such attempts of giving ´respect´ to the German legendary foursome, Komputer´s seems to be quite an intelligent pisstake - ´Valentina´ in particular... A very fine odd end to ´The Model´.
