You can close apps, you do this by dragin them down to the bottom of the screen and they fade away. Then close.

Have you actually tried to install Win8 on a tablet before? Else I do not need to argue with you, it's my review after trying, you don't believe it, why don't you try it out your self? For me I rather save all the storage for more useful purpose, personal opinion, we all do respect, I don't find your comment "meaningless", just you have a diff view that's it :)

@ngcheewei21 1.Android and iOS are not full-fledged OSs(Unlike Win8). The PC counterpart of iOS is the Mac OS which is a LOT different from the iOS you see in the iPad.
2.Win8 will take 16 GB? What are you, nuts? Win7 takes 4-5 GB. And as you said 'Win8 is nothing but Win7 plugged with a new UI'. Well I'm pretty sure a UI doesn't account for 10 GB of space. So how come the whole OS will eat 16 GB?
Dude....your comments are meaningless.

actually thats not a god damn tablet ITS A GOD DAMN MINI PC
@nhking4 You're comparing a full operating system to a mobile one. Currently, the gap between the two is wide open. The iPad is fun, but it lacks practicality and compatibility because it's designed by Apple for a young demographic. There's no reason for the tablet and notebook not to converge, and unless Apple does something smart soon, I think Microsoft could do just that with the release of Windows 8 tablets.
