part 4 how to make a LEGAL leather loincloth, tarzan outfit

okay folks

finally here it is,.. my apologies for taking so long, but a divorce does that to ya,.. anyhow i am glad to be back into the swing of things,.. here it is the final episode of how to make a loincloth or breechcloth or clout,.. so here are the final pieces all sewn in and put together,.. i added a fancy schmancy stitch there at the end that commonly put on the outside of wallets for strength and durability,. but i found that if you put then in with just a slight amount of tension,.. it will have an elastic like effect to provide for better cupping and it usually provides a better ability to hold onto extra things like a wallet or cell phone unless one gets super crreative and adds in a pocket of some sort or something interesting like that ( the mind goes in endless directions with the thought of sewing in of an extra "accoutrement"

Do you have tutorials for how to make this loincloth? I too am a fan of the loincloth and have been wanting to bring it back as well.. What type of hide do you find the least abrasive against the skin? I can't look through your other videos on my phone ..

@Acolis the type of hide depends on your preference, i prefer elk, deer is cheaper and not so heavy, my tutorials are on youtube,.. goto my channel and type in loincloth,.. i can also make you one if you prefer

what length do you make the front flap and back flap

@paddyrocks101 thanks for your question paddy,. the front flap can be any desired length,.. be sure that you add the amount of leather to allow for the fold over (the one that holds the rope braid) this also can be any desired thickness,... if your a bigger dude you would want a nice fat rope,.. a thinner guy would want a thinner rope,.. but then again thats just my opinion,. the flaps can be adjusted higher and lower,... done by adjusting the buttfloss tightness, i hope i helped somewhat

@paddyrocks101 also when attaching the cockbag to the front flap,.. be sure to get an inch or so below the belt (front flap foldover) so it doesnt hang down into the pubey area,.. buttfloss will take up the extra slack from there

If you were to make one for me (im 6' 1" 300lbs) how much would that run cuz im part cherokee and would love to wear one with some leggings and an apron to a powwow

@Colhane yup sure do,.. get a piece of leather about 6 feet long (for chiefs length) and about 2 feet wide or 18 inches,.. braid yerself a rope,.. put the rope around your waist,. slip the leather under yer nutsack,.. under the rope and down in front,.. same with the backside,.. no buttfloss, no cockbag,.simple and pure,.. but can get uncomfortable at times with the scrunching of the leather and all,.. i hate getting my pubes all wrapped up in there,. but,.. thats what manscaping is for right?
