The new legislator for Usuk County Proscovia Oromait Alengot, who is also probably the youngest Member of Parliament in Africa at just 19-years says age will not stand in her way.
Oromait Proscovia garnered 1,056 votes against that of her closest challenger independent candidate Charles Oleny with 5,329 votes to win Usuk county by elections on Wednesday. However some candidates are threatening to seek legal redress sighting massive police deployment and intimidation during the polls.
