The person from Bombay should just go back to his old job sooner than later since he is middle aged and could instantly increase his standard of living in a familiar area and in his homeland. Government is cruel and this one aspect of government proves that it is an unaccountable agency in perpetuity and should be abolished swiftly as it is a territorial monopoly on power.

It's frightening how the UK government couldgo back on their promise just like that. I remember reading about the Highly Skilled Migrant Scheme in the papers when it was launched, and thinking it was a good sign. But this is terrible! I hope these people win their fight against the new legislation.

IN the USA, the migrant docs and other intellectuals are turned away in favor of the illiterate of Latin America
That is NOT to say Latin America is illiterate - It is to say the pariah of that culture is preferred by the US State Dept over those who are intellectuals
