I was looking how this piece performed on the accordion sounds, but I didn't like how the notes release (after leaving the button) at all... =(

Purtroppo siamo noi che facciamo confusione... l'organetto è sì diatonico, ma anche la fisa a piano lo è... il termine giusto e distintivo sarebbe "bisonico", peccato non lo utilizzi quasi nessuno (e viene, appunto, confuso con "diatonico"). Purtroppo, i maggiori colpevoli della confusione che c'è intorno agli strumenti ad ancia libera siamo proprio noi che li suoniamo, spesso poco preparati a livello di terminologia (e mi ci metto in mezzo pure io).

i played for long years piano accordion and now i play chromatic as pro and diatonic for fun... i can tell you for sure that it's not a chromatic accordion ;-)
this kind of instrument is generally called "diatonic accordion", even if the correct name would be "bisonic accordion", as soon as this instrument sounds 2 different pitches by pulling or pushing bellows.

It's the name of this instrument, this isn't an accordion.
In Italy we call it "organetto"... i don't know the name in english.
