have 1 older korean. not LP pups!, they are heavily waxed for minimal feedback the vari-tone allows you to split the buckers and get a strat tone. ax is worth the $ never buy any ax before trying it, each 1 is different. &korean till 09? china=newer I own a les paul mic and the pots, switches etc are gibson, I understand q contoll is high w/ epis now my LP GROWLS at high vol. not w/ lucille. capable of any style this is a bad representation. I would recommend for any style. jazz guys love em!

Well running distortion on that guitar is a waste
-
Maybe after it is tuned it will sound a bit beter...

jesus this was the worst thing I've ever heard....what the fuck are you doing?????why would you buy this if your going to play with so much distortion. and those chords either weren't played properly or you just suck!

I have video on my channel testing out the Lucille with a distortion lead, I actually think it's a very versatile guitar, will play anything from Gentle Clean Blues to Crunchy to Heavy Blues. Just has to be dealt with correctly when choosing your sound.
If I'm not mistaken doesn't it have the same pups as the Epiphone Les Paul anyway.

dude someone please tune that thing..Quick!!

@taterx Whoops. I accidentally thumbed down your comment. I thought you were saying that a Jackson is a blues machine. But no. I agree with you.

Get a Jackson dude! That is a Blues Machine!

@yellowstone169601845 I'm looking to buy one to play rock and this type of demo video is exactly what I was looking for. Not that heavy, but hearing that helps me figure out the guitar's tone signature, since Lucilles are fairly difficult to find in-store to demo.
Jesus, man! This is not a metal guitar! Drop the distortion, it's painful!
