from "A Classical Guitar Christmas" album -

free tab / notation located at

http://www.guitar69.com/noel.htm

--------------------------------------------

Sorry about the background noise - this is New York City after all....

The arrangement is definitely influenced by the Beatles "Let It Be" - lots of 10ths and stepwise harmonic motion. I hope you enjoy hearing and playing it and will share it with others this Christmas.

Feel free to comment - but please don't get nasty to each other. As my Mom would say "Don't fight - It's Christmas!!!!"...haha

Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous 2008!

  • you are a magnificent arranger and player. i throw my horns up to this one

  • @Oblivion175 - you mean the "horns" that Dio used to wave to the fans? I'm honored, thanks!

  • Amazing. !!

I would love the tabs on this to play it at my church on Christmas. Would you mind giving them to me?

    Thank you for your time

  • hi - the link to the free tab is in the youtube descrption along with my new arrangement of "Deck the Halls" (see the response video underneath this one).

I'll be posting one more video with free notation/tab later this week.....

    Best wishes

    Kevin

  • thanks to all - If you have any questions about the tab/notation, please let me know.

Merry Christmas and Happy 2008. I hope 2008 is a fantastic year for all of us.

    Sincerely,

    Kevin

  • Lovely. I trust you are well acquainted with some of the great British acoustuic guitarists, Bert Jansch & John Renbourn to mention twqo.

  • thank you - yes, I'm particularly fond of John Renbourn's playing. My Baroque CD is very influenced by the "John Renbourn" kind of sound - lots of open strings and fluid arpeggios. If people don't know him, I highly recommend looking him up. He's a beautiful player.

    Merry Christmas,

    Kevin

  • Do you have Silent Night? Advance Happy Christmas.

  • Beautiful.

  • Your playing is like water over river stones -- very smooth, beautiful in every way, and it makes you want to listen to it over and over.

I have two guitars and play, but nothing near your level of excellence.

    Thank you, Kevin, for sharing.

    God bless,

    Laura

  • This is absolutely beautiful; I just happened across it and I'm glad I did.

    Laura
