Haha that bit so makes me laugh I think anyone,anywhere thats ever tried to tell someone about a particular part of any song has used the words "it's the next bit" and then missed the cue. Genius.

if you read the title it doesnt say 'the funk' that's a completely different song, it says jazz-funk, which is in the hitcher episode, the bass solo is played in the van before they get lost, and howard keeps missing the cue for the solo. when the hitcher plays at the end he doesnt actually play a solo, he plays the regular part.
i learnt the song by watching the show and figuring it out by ear, so i'm pretty sure i know what scene it's from

if i can get a better mic/cam setup i'll give it a go, this is recorded on my mobile at the moment so the quality isnt really good enough to learn from
