I can't wait till i get my 2011 Gti, I've been waiting months a total of 6months wait till I receive it, in September. Too bad I can't mod it, it will be a company lease car until 2 years :(

I have averaged 26.5 overall with a mix of city and hwy (60/20) since I got it 4 months ago. Get around 25 city and 33 hwy if I take it easy and stay out of the boost. If you're in it all the time, the mileage will be a lot worse and youll have a lot more fun. Beyond that, this car rules.

What's the real mpg for this car? Not the estimated, I wanna know the real reads from owners. I like this car more than my girlfriend (but I never said that, ok), and I'm planning a change. The only reason that could stop me from getting this one is if the mpg is worst than the car I have now... Thanks for the help.

@puerroputo Driving style will effect it but they do get 30 MPG on the highway and in the 20s in town.
