HRT can't undo changes that testosterone has already done to the vocal chords. She could go through voice therapy to speak in a more feminine voice but that wouldn't change how she sings.

She's had electrolysis to remove facial hair and started HRT (hormone replacement therapy). This video was filmed before she started HRT and it's not an overnight process to transition.

i don't get why he's changing his last name? Did he just invent that part or has he taken his mothers name maiden name? It seems stupid to change your last name when goin through a process like that but theres probably a good reason?

Grace is her mother's maiden name. She said in the Rolling Stone interview that she always had a strained relationship with her father (and that relationship went away completely after she came out as transgendered) so she felt more comfortable with her mother's name.
