At the Motor City Juggling club, we often create club passing patterns, on-the-spot, catered to the number of jugglers available, their skill levels, and their familiarity with variations, such as left- and right-hand passing.
At a recent meeting, this pattern, Dead Man's Dozen, was devised to accommodate a novice juggler just becoming comfortable passing a right-handed 4-count, as well as a more advanced juggler capable of left-handed passing in a somewhat irregular pattern. Finally, the feeder passes a rather oddball pattern of left- and right-hand passes. The pattern repeats every twelve beats.
In this video, feeder F is on the right, feedee A is at the left-top, and feedee B at left-bottom. The following notation includes both right and left hand beats, starting with the right. Self-throws are shown as 's'.
Feeder's pattern: ABsBAssBABss
Feedee A: FsssFsssFsss
Feedee B: sFsFsssFsFss
Jugglers (left-to-right): John Stamey, Chris Allington, Eric Sunshine. Filmed on 2010-03-31 at the Motor City Juggling club in Rochester, Michigan.
