@Profingers13 Personally, I would definatly say fretted. Fretless is difficult to learn, but I guess if you started with that, you would just be that much better starting out.

@flipslamjumpjumpjump I think I like them both about equal just because they are different with different tones, two different worlds. I do enjoy how the flatwounds feel on the fingers on the fretless compared to the roundwounds on the fretted though. That's nice.

oh yeah ... i did the roundwounds that came with it were horrible... felt bad on the fingers and were chewing up the board ... I hated them. this michael kelly works nice with light gauge regular flats for electric bass.
