@11808Clover It's an alien. No prehistoric creature could be so huge, it would have wiped out everything. And in reality, if it was real than they would have found fossils. It's was confirmed that it's an alien. And it's infact only a baby, which means the adults are like 100x bigger.

@jjboy157 it's an alien but not asleep on the ocean floor for millions of years. at the end of the movie you see it crash like a meteor into the ocean in the background during the old video of dude and his girlfriend on the ferris wheel. and i do believe i remember JJ saying it was meant to be a baby so you are right about that.
