As a followup to my previous list, here we are taking a look at the moments when it is THE PLAYER that has all the advantage, be it through abusable strategies or overpowered moves. For the most part, we are avoiding using unlockable super weapons or abilities and combinations you get from grinding for hours, as making the game much easier is kind of their point. Enjoy!

As always, I'm sure there are powerful weapons in games like Portal or Halo and others I haven't played, so no complaints that your favorites aren't on the list. Can't mention it if I haven't played it!

  • I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on the most broken character in Fire Emblem History. Ike has incredible stats and his sword,Ragnell, has UNLIMITED durability. Even with his lowish resistance, you have to TRY to get him killed.

  • I concur, but unlike Othin and his axe, you don't get that until Chapter 20+, and my goal was to try to mostly put things that you get early on in the game or can achieve without much effort.

I'll definitely note that for a follow-up list. Appreciate it!

  • ......no caser from gunstar heroes?....Maybe you didn't play it but comon....You press the fire button and everything dies on the screen.......always.....its a gun......no reload or anything....rapid fire.....

  • @TheGvidaz Oh, I love that game but didn't think of it for this list. That's the problem with working solo, you sometimes miss key games. Future sequel to this list (probably in a few months) will likely have it!

  • @NarfLarf I meant that you can only find one Soul of Thamasa easily (the Fanatics' Tower as you said) and while you can trade for more at the Colosseum via the Celestriad, the bottom line is that Celestriads are hard to get, as I think they are a 1/64 drop from the Brachiasauras you mentioned or a similar steal from Aquilas (who also show up very rarely)

  • @osurpless I didn't know you could only get one. I played the GBA port of FF6 and I received the Dualcast Relic from this tower that forbid characters from using anything but magic. Then the Celestriad was an extremely rare drop from the Bronto monsters. I managed to get 2 to both my team spellcasters so they wouldn't have to worry about MP.

  • @Sunkincid See my description: For the most part, we are avoiding using unlockable super weapons or abilities and combinations you get from grinding for hours, as making the game much easier is kind of their point.

Maybe I'll put it on an expanded list, but you have to admit, KOTR takes a long time to get and power up, even if you use the Magic Pots and Mover enemies in the North Cave.

  • WHAT NO KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND WITH W-Summon and various other materia.!?

  • @NarfLarf Thanks for checking it out. I think I didn't mention the Economizer/Celestriad is that they are difficult to get when compared to the Gem Box/Soul of Thamasa, unless you are willing to give one up to get the other. That is unless you know about Locke's strategy in the Colosseum...

  • @restingman34 I used to think it was the best TRADITIONAL CV there was, but the limited character selection when compared to Dracula's Curse narrowly defeats it for me. Dracula's Curse also has better stage design, more stages, and better music.

I still greatly enjoy Super Castlevania IV though, Theme of Simon kicks ass!

  • I'm glad to see a new vid from you! In FF6 I just gave Terra and the girl who draws Ultima and doublecast, along with that super rare item that reduces MP cost to one and Kefka was mincemeat!
