My thoughts as to why this is not exactly a sad day in soaps, but at the same time, other dramas had better get their acts together!

When it became all about reva/josh in sucked big time!!! Poor michael zaslow and all those other talented actors were brushed to the side lines when reva returned in 95.

the only talent that kim has is being able to bully thw writers&producers. think about it: everytime josh(or bud)started getting a hot storyline with another female, that female is turned in a vixen for the almighty reva to come and save the day:sonny was a good girl turned vixen, and annie being turned into a vixen was one of the most ridiculous character switches ever. even olivia almost suffered the same fate, but her underrated acting ability saved her from being another zimmer-ego victim

Well if I had the talent tht Kim had I would want front strory lines also.

Her daytime awards prove that she was the best in daytime. Not just my opionon, its a fact that she was the best Leading lady in daytime.

But back to the 1st subject, I will say I didnt start watching GL untill Annie came around so I dont wana comment on what happen b4. If thats the way u feel ok then fine by me!

i guess i am just the type to not roll over and play dead just because it happened years ago. everyone on the show who joined SINCE 97, you're right they are not at fault. but the backstage politicians like kim zimmer, who have always demanded front burner storylines or shw would walk(ala 1990 when she finally got told to stick it and ran to santa barbara)

Its 2009, its not EVERYBODY on the show fault!!!!!!!!! If they have realized how bad of a mistake they did I agree that they should have brought him back!!!

But i still would not get mad @ EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE SHOW!!!!!!!

get over a man who built that show and was unjustly fired? typical response from someone such as yourself. let me break this down for you, the firing happened in 1997, and the ones who were there then were the same ones who were on the blessed final episode. they could have stood together and said "he goes, we walk" and proctor&gamble would have backed down like the pieces of trash they are. 1 person didn't fire him, it took a group(do you know ANYTHING about a company?)

Ummm Ok. I c what u r saying but u must think when they fired that guy it was years ago. It was not the actors that fired him him so dont take your anger out on the show as a whole just because 1 person fired him.

And think if that happen years ago they its prolly not even the same person that wrks there is the one who fired him.

If somthing happen 50yrs ago, u cant be mad @ the ppl that wrks there 2day. The ppl that wrks there 2day has nothing to do with what happen 50yrs ago. Get over it

i feel gl deserves as much respect as they gave michael zaslow(roger thorpe)when he was forgetting his lines, they fired him and he was diagnosed with als disease. what went around , came around, good riddence to gl and the backstage politicians(kim zimmer)whi didn't have the guts to say "o.k, you fire zaslow, we all walk'
