Obama tax cut? If you earn less than $120k - the new definition of middle class

Here we go again, and the level of those who are considered middle class or will get a tax cut is now placed at $120,000 by Gov. Bill Richardson, Obama Campaign surrogate, in an interview with Tubbs Radio on 31/10/08.

In the UK, a middle class income is £23,000. I can't believe how idiotic the American right it... Somebody is considered to be middle class if their income is $120,000 and they're branded a socialist? It's absolutely moronic.

Although what Richardson said is true, "What Obama wants to do is, he is basically looking at $120000 and under, among those that are in the middle class, and there is a tax cut for those." It shows that 120k falls WITHIN THAT 90% of those who WILL receive a tax CUT.

But the fact still remains that Obama HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY SAYING that if your under 250k, you WILL NOT HAVE A TAX INCREASE.

As the Obama campaign has been saying ALL ALONG, there are TWO MAGIC NUMBERS. 250k and under will NOT SEE A TAX INCREASE and 150K and under 90% of you WILL SEE A TAX CUT. Logically, if you make between 150k and 250k, you will have NO CHANGE.

And that 120k comment came from Governer Bill Richardson on a radio show and NOT FROM OBAMA.
