Hey guys, long time no see!
I've been extremely busy with my exams... I'll explain and show you better in the next days!

Anyway, this is my entry for the current round of Boit, "rewind and rewrite".
This wasn't an easy challenge, but which one really was?
the point was to take a storyline, and then change it to gain a different outcome. I'm not really into au-ish videos lately, that's why it was rather hard for me to edit this particular theme!
I chose H and C story because it was the perfect base for this type of thing. The video is divided in three parts:
-summary of H and C relationship from the moment they get together to the break up.
-H's decision to get revenge by driving his car into C's living room.
- change: house did not see them going back to the living room and ends up killing C.
Not able to bear the pain, he commits suicide.

This is a rather plain and "obvious" storyline, but I think that's what makes it believable. That's the same reason why I decided to keep the editing simple. I really didn't want to "overdo it".
At last, as you may have noticed, I decided not to include the strongest scenes (for the anger or the pain for example) because I don't think they would fit the mood of the video. After all, I chose a Beatles song for a reason:)

So... I know that it's not the usual type of video you'd exepect. The style is minimal and the pace of the clip is rather slow, but that doesn't mean I didn't put effort on this. Most of the time, to gain "semplicity and immediacy" is even more difficult than doing fast paced video clips, So forgive me if I wasn't able to accomplish the task:)

why is your editing so flawless, jfc this was insanely good given the lack of effects, and you're right, a lot of the times those kind of videos are harder to do. again, just a fucking amazing video as per usual, i know you'll definitely pass this round!
