  • asthma is horrible , i hate having it . I'm only 14 , ive had it since i was 7 . Though I do believe I had it before 7, I just didn't go to a doctor till I was 7. Living with it is deffinetly not what people expect. I have excersise, smoking and strong perfume induced asthma, also mine gets worse in the winter. To anyone who has it I'm positve they would agree that its no walk in the park.

  • most palces dont like you goin on if your asthmatic, one of my friends soon regretted tellin the guys on each ride im asthmatic, the followin sentenve happened "i may be asthmatic but my eyes aint brused"| he said "what?" and i knocked his lights out, and said "i may struggle to breathe but i can still punch!" wastin my money like that!

  • Anyone interested in sharing their stories, let me know. I'm working on a book called the Asthma Photo Project. I think informational videos like these are helpful, but the downside is that they don't talk about the difficulties we face as Asthmatics. I often say because this is not a visible illness, people aren't always sympathetic to our plight. People often tell me its my fault I got sick. Is it? Sharing your stories can complete the missing piece of the education puzzle.

  • Reading some of the stories makes me want to cry. I understand the frustration with Asthma have about their condition. I've had it for my entire life. I've had periods of time where it didn't bother me and now I've had several trips to the ER and a hospital stay twice in the last 4 months. So I truly understand. I had a massive attack walking to get my daughter from school. I thought I was going to die before I could get home to my nebulizer. In the end, my kids had to call 911!

  • Very helpful information, however asthma and a low immune and adrenal system are connected. If you strengthen your immune and adrenal system you will find your asthma decreases and your health improves.
