@Krankster83 I had a lumbar laminectomy surgery. The ground out part of my L5 vertebra and removed the herniated portion of the disk. Its been almost 6 months and recovery has been good. Much less pain, (have some scar tissue that irritates the sciatic nerve when I move too much) and I am able to be and walk normally. Still can't run or lift a lot, but SO much better than before surgery!

@Xxslayer410xX Had it for a couple years. Was diagnosed two years ago after feeling a sharp pain after pushing out of a computer chair and it was hard to walk. I didn't believe the doc since they didn't do any diagnostics and the pain went away for a few months when prescribed muscle relaxers. The sciatic pain down my left side returned about 6 months later while I was at a difficult time in college and have been living with the pain since then since the doc bills were expensive. Surgery time.
