This song has been in the background of my life for the past 20ish year and it never stops moving me. I knew some of the people that wre in the Poisin girls for a short while and I am so glad for that memory. What a great bunch of people.

I work with a domestic violence/rape crisis center, my mother runs an animal rescue non profit, and many other people we know work in some capacity trying to hold back the floodgates of brutality and indifference in this world, and many of us are survivors of abuse, etc. If you look at the statistics of any horror in this world, it is overwhelming. This song is deeply, painfully true.
