351C cleveland Start up - Boss 302 overhaul

Boss 302 351C cleveland - This is my G code Boss 302 car under restoration. It did not have an original Boss 302 engine in it so all I could do to help this one surive was getting a fire breather 351 4V Cleveland! (all I could do?) Heh heh... Enjoy the video!

car is real but wrong motor , not 302 . water neck in wrong spot should be on intake

Ford had a quadrajet they used, yes a motorcraft, but i would loose that hunk of junk.

@FORDONTHEGASKICKINGA Yep but Quadrajet is the name Rochester Products gave to its carburetor made for GM; It's a spread bore, whereas the one in the video is a square bore carb (not the 4V Cleveland original though<-- this one was a spread bore... HUGE secondaries) . When I restored the Mustang, the carb served its purpose on the budget available at the time... However, it now sports an Edelbrock Performer. Thanks for the advice though!

@FORDONTHEGASKICKINGA No, they used a Rochester Quadrajet from factory only with the best performance Ford engines! So the best Ford engines came with a Rochester Q. go to mustangtek lots of information

i like the quadrajet carb especially for the 2barrel fuel economy and the sound when you open that huge secondary up is priceless. they are great carbs and i have had better luck with a tuned quadra than a holley.
