As requested by Prolight :), here is a demonstration of their Laser Harp controller. This is the laser harp I'm using in my videos. It's exceptionally easy to set up, with the only time consuming parts being the sampling assigning of notes to certain beams across the octaves. In the last part of the video, the harp is set up for 12 beams which is spread across one full octave.

It's very well made and solid product and I love it.

More videos coming soon including my full Rendez Vous 3 cover and my own music played on the harp. The background music is also a track by me, hope you like it.

  • Great video ! :)

Can you connect the controller to a macbook pro, to control effects in ableton live 8 ?

Can you control plugins synthetizers ?

  • @madmax3389 Hi, yes, it's just a MIDI controller - as for Ableton Live, I don't use it so not that familiar with it. Do remember though that as a MIDI controller it only sends not on/off values, and that is also dependant on the number of beams.

  • It was'nt a comment on your video :) was a comment left by someone,,, I should of put there mane first, im still new to youtube... lol...

Im building a harp controller very slowly, its not easy... I love what you have done with your set up..

  • @kikyohater2107 Thanks!

  • @soundmaster808 See other videos of mine...all is explained!

  • @SuperHypnoman I have fond my lasers to be adequately powered for my purposes. Regardless of that the sensor can have its sensitivity adjusted, and so that can compensate for the power of the laser.
