This is a video that shows examples of how I digitally retouched the exterior of homes and landscaping. These photographs were made by Alan Goldstein Photography. Alan Goldstein is an architectural, interior, and advertising photographer located in Maryland just outside of Washington DC. Most of his work is in the Mid-Atlantic region but he also travels to other parts of the country for photography. His clients include ad agencies, real estate developers, builders, architects and interior designers. Alan Goldstein has more than 25 years of experience in this specialized field. He is a member of Advertising Photographers of America and is a Gold Award winner in the 2010 Graphis Photography Annual.

  • @goldsteinphoto.i`m curious about how long you work on one of these images?

  • @dermark34 The most elaborate ones can take several hours. Some of this time is looking for material in my files (trees, lawn, flowers) that can be inserted into the image.

  • Paparazi this builder makes custom homes and they'd be perfectly happy to install that landscaping for any buyer. These are not real estate ads where they are selling these specific homes. Besides often the photograph has to be taken before the project is completed or in the winter when the grass is brown. Perhaps you should also consider that retouching photographs is very common in advertising.

  • @Goldsteinphoto agreed entirely. retouching is a HUGE part of any commercial photography, be it for builders, hotels, interiors, etc. Real estate photography is an entirely different type of photography

  • Perhaps you should look up the definition of misrepresentation.I would never allow you to modify an image like that for me
