Final Fantasy 1 - Dawn Of Souls - Abyss Worms TERROR - part 1

During trip in Earthgift Shrine I have encountered THEM.This is cruelest thing,what you can meet in this dungeon.Squaresoft don't need Bosses or Minibosses,in order to squeezes your life (like Tonberry in FF5 or other FF).They are rare,and packed random enemy.They have huuge ammount of Hp - 2500 one so two is 5000,like bosses in this dungeon.But more scariest thing is their strength and that,they are in duet.They do damage to my low level characters around 300 - 500 (even more than 2-Headed Dragon).This is mortally for everyone,and also attacks two characters.So there only one tactics with this level - phoenix downs and slowra.Only those heal or cure and protera or potions is loss of turn.Revive dead characters after turns,and trying cast Slowra on them...

How rare is he????? Cause I've been on this floor for several hours, and still didn't encountered him, please help! :'(

Ran into these things by misfortune. Didn't think they'd be much worse than the scorpions until they one shot my entire team.

I remember the first time i got lost in the abyss and then 2 Abyss Worms came up out of nowhere. I figured "Oh, they must not be much harder than say, a Lava Worm or a Sand Worm." After the first attack I knew I had fiercely underestimated them. After they obliterated my whole team on several different occasions, I finally found my way out of that hell. These things are worse than the Warmech.
