ok look, the video doesnt show u how strong the ground is shaking, u may be basing ur question on ur view of the t.v. or the room not shaking side to side and up and dwn. but i assure u, since i was there & lived less than 20 miles from the epicenter in San Jose, california it was very strong and got worse after the video ended. the video doesnt depict the true ground motion; so to u, it seems the lights are falling eazily, when in fact its a major quake of wich u have no obvious experience :)
