HDD Clicking Not Normally (click of death) (HD)

its an apple... should be called a lemon! XD did it have a warranty on it?

I had a customer that had the same exact harddrive and made the same noise. I pulled their data off right when it started making that noise, right after it was done the drive crashed all together. So the bad news was their hard drive was dead, and the good news is that I saved their data. The drive was stock in a 6 year old laptop, which already outlasted it's expectancy.

I had a shitty Acer Aspire computer, instead of clicking, mine made a beeping noise (it would hold a long beep, then freeze, while holding that beep.) I'm not sure if this is related, but when I brought it in, they had said it died. :(

lol my hdd wouldnt stop doing it. Entire thing was bad. how the hell is that possible?

and what is the solution pls?
