@ScrewItPruitt Wow! That's probably the nicest thing anyone has said to me here on YouTube (at least regarding me playing bass)...thanks...that gives me a boost in confidence I can put to use for my next bass videos...so I should be able to just have fun with it...which is what it's all about anyways. I tend to jam a bit because of my guitar "mind" but at the same time try to remember that I am playing bass and need to keep it simple and hold sown the bottom. Thanks for commenting and watching!

@joeypaint I'd say the one major problem is mixing a passive and an active pickup: in your case a Lace Sensor, which are actives (I had a Jazz Bass with a set of them - wonderful tone) and Duncans, where most models are passive. IIRC the original guitarist from Faith No More had a Gibson Flying V where he mixed an Active EMG humbucker as well as one of the stock Passive Gibson Humbuckers in the same guitar. It was a killer wiring job with buffers to equalize the outputs, but workable.

@andreking84 $1000.00 (USD) and up for a used one (the US made version)...depending on age, condition, and color (and options...such as the 2 pickups)...this one sold for about $1500.00.

@greengtrs
It depends on age aswell. 80's or 90s musicman can go used for 2k€+
As I see the 1992-2007 series of MM's are now pretty sought for, as they used ceramic magnets, and are more punchier than the 2008-present models, which use alnico magnets now.
I have the 2007 Sting5 H/H, happened to be one of the last Stings with ceramic magnets. The difference is quite obvious between ceramic and alnico as my friend has an alnico sting and his is warmer but less punchy.

@popace Good info there! I'll keep that in mind in the future. Yes they vary...even from one to another off the production line...no two are exactly alike...NEVER buy one out of a box without trying it or at least hearing it (or totally trusting the person selling it to you to pick you a great one)...most of them are good, high quality instruments, but not all of them are great...I used to have the privilege of having 15 to 20 at my disposal...some have "IT" and some don't (from any year).
