3D MRI scan of a human brain.
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), is primarily a medical imaging technique most commonly used in radiology to visualize the internal structure and function of the body. MRI machines use extremely powerful magnetic fields to spin align the hydrogen atoms in your body along the direction of the magnetic field lines. Radio Frequency (RF) fields are used to knock these hydrogen atoms out of alignment, while sensors pick up the signals generated when the hydrogen atoms re-align with the strong magnetic field.

This is aninteresting video showing the full brain. It will be a useful introduction innthe training that I do in how alcohol and drugs affect the brain.

as someone that has had this done, I am fascinated by the images... but the music takes away from the images for me though. It makes the whole thing to heroic and not enough like the jelly that it is! Maybe Phillip glass could compose something for the video...

@MrJamesmusic The big money interests in the US have convinced the average American citizen that the UK and German medical models are garbage. Better you should lose your home, than some insurance or hospital exec lose his BMW and his stock options.
