A good solo should fit the song, yes he could have played a bunch of notes per second but would it have fit with the song? And he plays so that his fans can have a good time, he yelled at security guards because they wouldnt let his fans com up close. and comparing him to rock players isnt gonna help much because they are very two different styles of playing. yes they use the same basics but the little nuances that they implement is what makes the difference.Keith hs his own style nd is good

@Sdrumer15 Who said you have to hit a million notes? some of the best solos ever were slow ones, all im saying is that i don't see the feeling in his playing that there should be. I'm a blues guitarist myself (among other genres) and one thing i can say, is that if you're playing to impress people, then you shouldn't be playing. and thats what he does. good guitarists just play to play cuz they love it, and people want to watch them do it.

@gbhunter8 Dude you say you're a guitarist and such well then you should respect keith urban! He's one of the best guitar players alive. He has an understanding of music and realizes that you don't have to hit a million notes a second to play an awesome solo. Plus he sings and does lead guitar. I'm a guitarist to btw.

@gbhunter8 Do you have a record deal? Have you sold millions of albums after struggling to make it in the music business for years? I'm thinking.....No! You really have nothing better to do than rip on Keith Urban do you? People like different types of music. I am a huge Rush fan and think Alex Lifeson is one of the most underrated guitar players of all time. I've become a Keith Urban fan within the last couple of years and he is a great player, but I'll admit, not on Lifeson's level.
