The only thing that I actually figured out myself is to do the first segment undetected and to get on the glitch without the grenade. In my opinion, glitching in a walkthrough to achieve something isn't necessarily unimpressive. I like to think of it as a strategy, rather than a cheat. I'm pretty relieved that it's possible to go through the whole mission as a ghost, excluding mandatory kills, such as the guards interrogating Sam. I would glitch again if it was possible on next missions if the mission ever makes it impossible for you to remain undetected.
